Zeus
One of Zeus great battles was when he fought Typhon, after he he defeated the Titans. Typhon made a final attack upon the gods but, the other gods were afraid of him so they turned themselves into animals to hide from Typhon. Typhon had fiery eyes, snakes for fingers and legs, and golden wings. Typhon is known as the father of all monsters. Zeus confronted Typhon and struck him with lightning. He then went to him and beat him with his sickle. Zeus then got caught in the coils of his snake legs. Typhon then took his sickle away and cut his tendons from his legs and hands leaving Zeus helpless. Zeus son Hermes and a satyr helped put his tendons into place without being seen. Zeus quickly regained his strength he then approached Typhon on a winged horse. He struck all his lightning at Typhon. Finally he threw Mt. Aetna at Typhon leaving him trapped. That is why lava and fire comes out of Mt. Aetna.
